The Mayor's proposed navigation center at Seawall Lot 330 has made homelessness and the welfare of unsheltered San Franciscans top-of-mind for many of us in the East Cut area. The proposal has generated the largest amount of community engagement of any project we've ever seen - on both sides of the issue.

In November 2018, conversations about the possible introduction of affordable groceries being jeopardized in The East Cut District sparked. While the community celebrated the opening of Woodlands Markets at Lumina in August 2017 -which positively impacted the fabric of the neighborhood- many neighbors remained wishful of seeing more grocery options...
