Noize Floor: An Evening Of Improvisational Music And Video Performance

The East Cut Community Benefit District invites you to an improvisational music show and opening reception for The East Cut’s new pop-up community space at 155 Main Street. For one night, we will transform a vacant space in San Francisco into a safe and creative space for Bay Area artists and musicians.

Join us Saturday, December 9th as we open our doors to a collective of Bay Area musicians who specialize in improvisational electronic music, using custom-made synthesizers. The performers, Noize Floor, will be paired with video projections, including interactive visual art pieces. The event will feature a cash bar with proceeds going to support Third Fridays, The East Cut’s monthly arts and culture series featuring Bay Area artists.

Date: Saturday, December 9th
Time: 7:30pm – Midnight
Location: 155 Main Street

RSVP here.

This alien is so basic. But he had one great idea: one day it dawned on him that you can actually make real music with a modular synthesizer and he’s been contacting celestial ancestors via quantized frequencies ever since.

Particle Fields
Experimenter of modular synth sonic environments. Contrast of elements & methods, enriched by modulation & punctuated by glitch interferences, distorted voices, bone-chilling drones and saturated drums – cats are our overlords!

Kim Nucci
Oakland-based multimedia artist/composer and improviser. She plays woodwinds and various homemade circuit and acoustic instruments. Pope of facebook. Worships dollar slice pizza as the one true god, while living in the god(pizza)less land of California.
