Protestors recently gathered to draw attention to the potential consequences facing public transit in San Francisco. In January, Governor Newsom proposed a budget that would cut $6 billion from capital programs, including transit infrastructure. If these budget cuts were implemented, there is a possibility that bus services, including those at the Salesforce Transit Center like AC Transit, SamTrans, and SF Muni, could be affected as early as this Summer could be affected as early as this Summer.
