At The East Cut Community Benefit District, Street Services are more than a checklist—they’re the foundation of a thriving, welcoming neighborhood. Our dedicated team works daily to maintain clean, safe, and accessible streets, not only through routine maintenance and safety support, but by actively caring for the public realm and advocating for improvements that often go unseen. From removing debris to reporting infrastructure issues and supporting unhoused individuals, we’re committed to being a visible, reliable, and hospitable presence for everyone who lives, works, and visits here. We believe that great neighborhoods start from the ground up—and it begins with the streets.

OPERATIONS REPORTS
SAFETY AND AMBASSADOR SERVICES
Community begins with safety and trust. Our Ambassadors are trained to respond to non-emergency quality-of-life concerns around the clock. Their visible presence and active engagement with residents, workers, and visitors help create a sense of security and support across the district.
While we are not a replacement for emergency services—call 911 in an emergency—our team is here to help address everyday issues and maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
OUR SAFETY SERVICES:
- Responding to concerns about suspicious behavior
- Addressing noise disturbances
- Supporting individuals experiencing crises
- Checking in regularly with building security staff
- Monitoring and reporting public safety or infrastructure issues

CLEANLINESS AND BEAUTIFICATION


Our Clean Team and Ambassadors are on the ground early in the morning and late into the night, making sure the East Cut stays in top condition. They’re trained to notice the small things that make a big difference, whether that’s removing graffiti before most people see it or flagging infrastructure issues to the City for repair.
While we proactively patrol and maintain the public realm, we also rely on community input to help keep the district looking its best. If something needs attention, we want to hear from you.
