Hundreds of volunteers gathered at Embarcadero Plaza this morning at 8:00 am to answer the call from the San Francisco Travel Association and the Hotel Council of San Francisco to participate in Love Our City—a volunteering event to clean areas of District 6.
About 20 volunteers were dispatched in The East Cut to paint a wall and a staircase on Essex Street and to remove litter and weeds from Rincon Hill Dog Park.
Thank you to all the volunteers who attended the event this morning, to San Francisco Public Works for their help in orienting volunteers, and to District 6 Supervisor Matt Haney for his continued partnership.
